Turnarounds:
Note: All terms stated above are approximate. Our translation agency will assist clients in finding the best term/price parameters for them. There are multiple options we can offer to our clients. Please, send your enquiry to our offices by e-mail or any other means of communication convenient to you to let us prepare the best possible offer.
Important: You should keep in mind that our rates are based upon the volume of the target language text, and not on the source language text. According to Bulgarian Standard BDS 6.04.1:1985 a standard page is equal to 1800 characters with spaces (30 lines per page, 60 characters per line).
You can easily check the approximate volume of you translation by dividing the word count readings (MS Word: Tools/Word Count/Characters (with spaces)) to 1800.
You should further keep in mind that due to some language features, availability of abbreviations (which are translated in full) and other reasons that must be taken into account to preserve the essence of source text or keep the statutory requirements, the volume of the target text may increase. Our experience has shown that the volume increases with some 10 % for English and with up to 25 % for German and French translations, etc.
* Translations of less than 1800 characters with spaces will be charged as one full page.
* If the source document contains texts in different languages, each language in the translation shall be charged separately as (at least) one full page.
INTERPRETING
Simultaneous Interpreting
The interpreter sits in a booth. He/she receives the sound through a headset and renders the message into a microphone almost simultaneously. Interpreters work in a team of at least two persons.
Consecutive Interpreting
The interpreter speaks after the source-language speaker has finished speaking. Consecutive interpreting can be carried out by either one or two interpreters depending on the specific situation. This type of interpreting is very suitable for negotiations, business meetings, notary certifications, escorting, seminars and other events that need good orientation in the situation and excellent knowledge of source and target languages.
Important:
If an interpreter is hired for an event, the client will be charged for the gross period of the event, regardless of whether the interpreter has rendered his/her services all the time or not.
Charging can be made on hourly or daily basis. For longer events, you can take advantage of our volume rebates. Please call us for more information.
